There are a lot of nice things to see in the area, here are some suggestions.

Pszczyna located approx. 30 km from Hotel Dąbrówka. Main attraction are museum in a castle of Pszczyna with a historic park next to it and European Bison reservation.  Here you will find more information

Kraków (Cracow) located approx. 140 km from Hotel Dąbrówka. It is one of the oldest cities in Poland situated on the Vistula river and the official capital of Poland until 1596. Cited as one of Europe’s most beautiful cities, its Old Town with Wawel Royal Castle was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1978, one of the world’s first sites granted the status.

There are many wonderful things to see in Kraków and even more great restaurants with delicious food to try out (don’t miss the Polish fastfood “Zapiekanka”).  Check here for some tips for Kraków and surroundings.

Wieliczka Salt Mine located near Kraków approx. 150 km from Hotel Dąbrówka. The Wieliczka salt mine, excavated from the 13th century, produced table salt continuously until 1996, as one of the world’s oldest operating salt mines. It is now an official Polish Historic Monument and the UNESCO World Heritage List. Here is the official website incl. online tickets sale.

Not a highlight, but rather a recommended visit: Auschwitz Museum. Located approx. 60 km from Hotel Dąbrówka. In case you would like to visit this place, we strongly suggest to do this after our wedding.
